Rudolph Altrocchi (1882–1953)

A series of research projects - though the link to 'sleuthing in the stacks' is tenuous to the point of being misleading. Rather they are a series of disquisitions into quasi literary topics, including an old painting. Only one held my attention, the first one, as the writing is prolix and discursive. Published in 1944, perhaps it is just that this work is past its sell by date.
