This is a very nice children's cook book, which will be useful to adults as well. The recipes are varied - all kinds of food from various ethnic groups are here. It is very well illustrated with many color photos.
The book is hardcover with large easily readable print. The appropriate caveats about heat, sharp utensils, etc. are inserted where appropriate for kids' safety.
Besides being a cook book, this is affine culinary history of Wisconsin.

I found this book super fun and easy to understand! I took this book over to my nephew and we tried some of the recipes and he was able to understand them perfect. He loved looking at all the pictures and was even able to learn a few things about the culture of WI. I think this could be a great book for teachers to use in school. It is very, very well structured and this book brings so much to the table. I love this! There is a ton of information that can be easily understood by anyone. There are recipes of things that I made when I was younger, things my mom made, things I wanted to make but thought were too hard. I have to say I'll be making a lot of the recipes in this book, as well as sharing them with my great nieces when they come to visit. I received this book from Library Thing for an honest review. Thank you!
