This book provides information on the geography, history, and socioeconomic facts about each of the midwestern states and the great lakes. This book has good connections to school work because it includes before and after reading activities, a glossary of content vocabulary, and facts broken down by state and lake. The book also has plenty of pictures and infographics to accompany the written information. However, the information is also very limited with few details, so it would not be good for in depth research.… (plus d'informations)

Using his special fertilizer, the farmer grew a money tree. Each grew different coins depending on the type of fertilizer that was used, and when the farmer and his wife left for their honeymoon the little boy watching over the farm discovered that by mixing fertilizer you could grow two types of coins. I give this book 5-stars because it is a great way to introduce money to your students. It's a fun book that can be turned into a lesson by having your students make their own money trees.

This tree grows different types of coins and dollar bills and the book shows the connection between the two. I think this would be a great book for younger students who are learning about money. This book would also be a great start for a project where students can make their own money trees. I liked this book because it made learning about money fun.… (plus d'informations)
