Charlotte Allen

Charlotte Allen was born in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1928. She is a journalist, freelance writer, and editor. In 1965, she graduated from Stanford University with honors in classics and English. Two years later she earned a M.A. from Harvard University. In 1974, she received a law degree from the afficher plus University of Southern California and was admitted to the State Bar of California. Allen is a contributing editor of Lingua Franca. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic Monthly, Commentary, The New Republic, and The American Spectator.
