M. C. Alexander

Wow! I will make some changes based on advice given in this "self-help" book, which basically is the philosophy of not giving a rip. The language is spicy, but the author leans toward using a lot of the words I would use to get a point across. I was really wondering if I needed to write a book about all the stupid stuff going on in the world since 2020, but M. C. Alexander has done an EXCELLENT job of beating me to it. I do differ slightly in religious beliefs, but I think I would definitely fit in the category of "non-judgemental tolerant Christian". I do believe that everyone has a right to choice, and I don't think my views should ever be pushed down someone's throat. I am only led to "plant the seed" to a receptive mind, and move on. And I so agree there are hypocrites out there who are not walking the walk and talking the talk about their faith. I do believe many faiths are on the path to what I believe is true, and those that go against those faiths are not true, but I am not the one to condemn or judge, and can be friends with all kinds of people who are not hateful. So, I would not necessarily compare religion to a buffet, as my personal walk and experience has proven my faith to me, and I know some of the so-called "religions" are a deep detour from anything that is good or true. This book is way more about so many topics than religion, but when religion is addressed, I feel the need to state my belief and how I try to behave. I am not perfect, but I do understand how I should be guided to behave on this earth. I love the title of this book, so appropriate. My biggest flaw is that I am a helper and advice-giver, and now I know I should just state my opinion nicely and back off. That will be the "self-help" I have earned from reading this book.
