The book tells about Antony van Leeuwenhoek's life that lead him to building the microscope and being the first human to see microscopic organisms. It follows his life, showing us that though he wasn't raised in the sciences he had a curious mind and that's what lead to his discovery. This is a good message to show kids, and the book is well illustrated with a nice glossary with dates at the end for fact checks.
