Iron Mountain is a child of the bureaucracy, and it exhibits all the arrogance and moral evasion of its parent. Behind a cloak of elitism and incognito, it decrees the face of multitudes. The problem with Iron Mountains (and Al Gore's) approach is in the use they make of legitimate environmental concerns. they wrongly define our eco-problem in ways that make their favored outcome seem like a necessary and inevitable solution.
