This was a really good book about a much overlooked figure of Queen Victoria's extended family. Her half-sister, Princess Feodora, was one of the most influential people in the queen's life. The princess was full of encouragement, empathy, advice, and good counsel. It's unfortunate that full access to Princess Feodora's papers aren't accessible in the Royal Archives at Windsor. At least it wasn't at the time of this book's publication.

A good look and incite into a highly influential person in Queen Victoria's life. If you manage to find a copy somewhere, it is well worth the price.
