Arnold R. Alanen

I found this book interesting from the standpoint of I am 1/2 Finn and grew up in one of the areas discussed in the book. I recognized quite a few names and have visited in many of the locations discussed in the book. It was a little dry at times, but the fact that I grew up in the culture it was fascinating. I kept looking for pictures of relatives, and did find one shirt-tail relation!
