Things begin to change when an operation goes wrong and she is badly hurt. While recuperating she finds she is the heir to a very large fortune from a estranged upper class snooty Aunt. There are serious stipulations that come with the money. These stipulations are the polar opposite of anything she has experienced. Any short cuts with these stipulations render the money gone. Still healing and Always the hero, she agrees as she needs her parents and a good friend to have a better and easier life.
Of course, nothing is easy. She attempts to fit in to the world of opulent luxury and soon finds out she and her team are on someones hit list.
The book was fast pace, exciting and fun to read. Especially looking into a world of ridiculous wealth. However, why is it with the protagonist getting physical with a fellow ops? I mean, REALLY? In my reality, any woman who fights against the Good Ol Boy mentality would never jeopardize her hard earned reputation over sex.
