Referred to as the "prose Shakespeare of the Puritan theologians," Thomas Adams, a Calvinist Episcopalian in terms of church polarity, has penned what has been called his "magnum opus" in this amazing commentary on Second Peter. Exhaustive in scope, this exposition is a work of art, though a tedious read at best. It is a magnificent work not for the faint of heart but for only the most serious of bible students. I recommend it highly.
