Rosemary K. Adams

Although an interesting concept, I've only read through chapter 5 and I may have to stop there. It is written almost like an old legend, though rather sarcastically, and there is little character development. I kept waiting to figure out the point of this story – is this a journey of epic proportions for the main character? Is this a literary commentary/joke? Is she ever reunited with her first love, and if not, what was the point of beginning her story at her coming of age and are all these details important for the plot of the story?

As it is, it seems to me like a detailed and humorous summary outline for what could be a series of books, or at least a much longer book with more character, more intrigue, more depth and detail. Right now, I don't care at all about any of the characters; I just want to know why I should finish it.… (plus d'informations)
