Some very funny jokes in this little book. There are also some cringeworthy ones...lol

For me, Phillip Adams has always represented focussed reason and intelligent commentary in our media - his is a voice that doesn't need to shout, aggressively market or retreat to the cult of personality. His is a reassuring presence as Australia wades further into the mire of global discontent and uncertainty.

In "Bedtime Stories: 21 Years Behind the Mike at RN's Late Night Live", we are afforded a seat at the console beside this veteran and revered broadcaster. Adams shares with the reader his insights and reflections on his many meetings with the fascinating, influential, powerful and disturbing.
It is so much more than a behind-the-scenes journey into his unique world of broadcasting. A most rewarding memoir, that I savoured in bite-sized chunks.

This mind broadening collection of articles by Adams is honest, intelligent, confronting and at times quite humourous! An excellent read recommended to all those who wish to explore the fascinating contradictions, struggles, corruption and very human phenomenon.

Adams writes about dozens of religious variants both christian and non, in a warm and gently witty style, with no vitriol and plenty of curiosity and kindness. But as we know he's not convinced by any of them, and quite horrified by some.… (plus d'informations)
