[Against the Odds: A Love Story] [Author: Adams, J.]… par J. Adams
I really enjoyed this bi-racial romance. I found this in my TBR pile and wished I'd read it sooner. I voluntarily chose to review this and I given it a 5* rating. This has all kind of feels in it, and yes, I needed a tissue at one point. From a haphazard chance at love to a second chance at the real deal, this heroine learned. And then life happens. Won't say how it ends, but I thought it worth the time.

Beautiful in My Eyes par J. Adams
This story deals with a unique situation with the main character Gizelle suffering from Alopecia (hair loss). This affects her greatly as she is very emtional and is need of support from her family and of course has a big impact on the overall story. Her husband comes in like a knight in shining armor and is immensely caring and supportive. At first the story seemed to be all over the place but once I got my bearngs it was wonderful. I enjoyed the literary intros to each chapter and the author truly makes the reader share a part of the Gizelle's story with emotional commitment.… (plus d'informations)

Sweet 21 Birthday Ball par J. Adams
A love story between two people that you do not expect. The author really takes you into their hearts and feelings. I enjoyed it but found I was hoping for a bit more once the characters unite in love and I found the ending slightly abrupt but overall a nice short story. A 2.5.

That Kind of Love par J. Adams
This is a lovely short story that continues the Legacy to a younger generation. Against amazing odds these characters find love and the importance of family and knowing your self worth. This is a definite must read for anyone who has read the Legacy and for those who haven't, what are you waiting for?
