Georgia's family are all artists, but Georgia is more science-minded herself. The flap copy asks, "Is it possible for science and art to really mix?" In a word, yes, and I don't think kids see the two as separate until adults tell them they are.

This book is so great for first and second graders because at that age they can enjoy all the amazing illustrations and not be distracted by them. It is a great way to introduce differences and similarities of subjects.
