Welcome to Savannah College of Law, located in America's most beautiful city! Jennifer Stone graduates from Savannah College of Art and Design and in an unusual career change, enrolls in Savannah College of Law (¿Savannah Law¿). Scott Marino, a senior, and prosecution clinic intern assigned to the DA¿s office, meets Jennifer during orientation and the two are immediately attracted to each other. Also finding an interest in Jennifer is an ambitious, young professor, Denis Nolan, who is campaigning hard to succeed the retiring dean. He weaves himself into Jennifer¿s life by selecting her as his teaching assistant. Nolan is the son of one of the school¿s founders, and uses his influence with the Board of Trustees to have Jennifer appointed as a student representative on the dean search committee. Scott has his own personal reasons for distrusting Nolan. He tries to alert Jennifer, but she quickly dismisses his warnings. When Max Gordon, one of the nation¿s most successful trial attorneys comes to town for a high profile criminal trial, the lives of Scott, Denis, and Max¿and eventually Jennifer¿ become intertwined in a whirlwind of drama, both inside and outside the courtroom.
