It did give me some bad moments though as I was reading this story about a runaway 13 year old girl. She kept taking chances that could have had bad consequences. She ended up staying safe but not really from wise choices. So we had a lot of little side discussions on why hitchhiking is bad etc. The ending was not the most happy but may have been more realistic than I expected it to be. I guess ultimately it ended happy but not in the way you expected when you started the book. ( ) This book grabs you from the very beginning. Sunny is a very clever and cautious girl. Things don't always turn out like you hope they will. synopsis: A unique story of separated twins and the unexpected consequences of their reunion. Sunny Skyland longs to be reunited with her twin sister, Starr. With only an old photograph, taken a few days before the girls were separated at age three, to guide her, Sunny begins the cross-country journey that she has dreamed of during her ten years in various foster homes. Sunny manages to locate her twin, only to be faced with a whole new challenge. Award-winning author Peg Kehret combines suspense and action with reflections on the true meaning of family as Sunny learns that sometimes we must let go of our dreams in order to embrace a different, better future. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
