An enjoyable and light read. I enjoyed this book and found it to be an inspiring book for the holiday season. I started reading on a Friday night and finished it the next day. If you are interested in the Civil War era, this is a book which you will find interesting. ( ) All the stories took place during the War between the States. Leah and Seth are pledged to marry and then he disappears. When they are reunited he must come to grips with what he had to do for the "enemy" in order to stay alive.
