In terms of a short, coffee table style book, this satire of what we might find on Obama's Blackberry is laugh out loud funny. It's short and sweet, and simply amusing. Fun little read. ( )

This book was light and funny. It has made the rounds in our house and everyone who has read it finds it amusing. It is written to look as thought you are reading President Obama's blackberry on each page so it is a quick read ( )

O'BAMA'S Blackberry by Kasper Hauser

"OBAMA'S Blackberry" is a small and fun book. Not every entry bowled me over with laughter, but most entries cracked me up with laughter. Overall, I would count it as a good book to carry on a bus or subway as you head to work. It's a good book for the beach too. I enjoyed seeing the different names of people in government: Of course, our President Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Biden, Alan Greenspan, etc. I really enjoyed reading Mahlia's entries. Her entries, Michelle's entries and Bill Clinton's words struck me as true blue, not out of character at all. Sasha has text on the blackberry too. I do see Sasha as a little girl who can easily make friends. It was hard for me to remember that all the entries are fictional, pretend. Now, if we can only get our hands on a blackberry with what their really texting one another.

To me President OBama came across as the Great Listener and the workaholic. He's constantly being bugged by all of his fellow workers who want a moment of relief from work and stress. After reading this do I want a blackberry? No, not yet. By the way, this is a good beach book too. ( )

This little hardcover book has a modified blackberry on every page, displaying witty jokes and satirical humour in the form of emails and instant messages. It's all fictional and for fun, but there is some truth to it. I personally don't follow politics very closely, but I enjoyed the read. I didn't think politics could be fun, but in this book, yes it can. Lets hope some jokes don't die out with time.

Some of the jokes made me chuckle while a few made me laugh out loud. I don't know if it's easy to make me laugh, but I did have a smile on my face the whole time while flipping through its pages. I'd say to give this book a try. You might like it -- unless you feel you know nothing about American politics -- which is almost impossible. ( )

This book was short and sweet. I took me less than an hour from cover to cover...

It was entertaining, it made me laugh a few times. I could only picture some of the people (which makes me realize I need to brush up on current events) but the ones I could made reading these messages even better.

I think my favorites were the 3rd one and the last one! ( )

Book Description
When Obama stated that if elected, he would keep his Blackberry, debate echoed through Washington and among the ranks of the Secret Service. What would it be like to have a president who could Twitter, send text messages, and navigate the web with ease? What would it be like to receive a text message from inside the Oval Office and, most importantly, what would it say?

Now, for the first time, We The People are privy to our new leader's epistolary back-and-forths on his wily hand-held device. We're about to discover that his emails (and the replies, from his wife and daughters, Biden, Palen, Rush, Hannity, the new first puppy, and even Bush) are so tuned in to the language of electronic correspondence they come hilariously close to the brink of legibility.

This giftable, imagined glimpse into Obama's beloved Blackberry traverses the mundane and momentous contours of the Commander in Chief's life, from security briefings to spam, basketball practice to domestic bliss, and the panic of oops-I-hit-reply-all, to, of course, the trauma of dealing with the First Mother In Law.
