I have yet to read a book by her that I hate. I also love Christmas. There was no way this book wasn't going to be a win for me. The bonus for me was the second story in the book, The Forgetful Bride. I loved that story. We all have that childhood memory of someone. The storyline with it, though, delighted me. Both of these stories have likable characters and interesting plots. I found this to be a heartwarming good time. I recommend it especially with a cup of cocoa, comfy clothes and a fire, (I use the tv ones sometimes), with, if at all possible, snow falling outside. For my full, non-spoiler review: https://christianlovingbooks.blogspot.com/2018/12/when-christmas-comes-review.ht... This story perfectly illustrated the factor that when all does not go as planned it can be a good thing. Humorous and heartwarming it is the ideal choice for a dose of holiday cheer. Loved the main characters, though I was not a fan of Heather. She came across as a spoiled brat. Bernice was probably my favorite because she is so funny. In short it is another feel good holiday themed story. Total fluff but just wanted I wanted and I enjoyed it. I DNF’d after 20 pages. I just couldn’t get into it. I mean, I used to live in Boston and I know the Starbucks in Harvard Square well. There’s no way she got a table there in the middle of the day, there are no parking spaces outside the Starbucks, and the boyfriend did a u-turn in the middle of the street? We’re talking freaking Harvard Square. There’s no way that wouldn’t end in an accident. This lady did zero research and it annoyed me and I’m bringing the book back to the library. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
