Teresa Calvet Reading about Tearle slowly winning over Zared was a very enjoyable experience. As a lover of the 1st Peregrine book The Taming I very much enjoyed checking back in on Zared, Rogan, Liana, and Severn. I liked the mystery in the book that focused on the Peregrine and Howard family feud. There was good subplots going on with Severn and Anne. Tearle and Zared had plenty of adventures and obstacles to overcome. A really good conclusion to the Peregrine family story. Maybe one day we will read about some descendants? An arrogant brat of a girl-woman abuses the genuine if inexplicable love of a good man -- all because she refuses to think for herself or stand up to her family. In other words, this is an annoying book, one that will leave you with a headache from rolling your eyes so much. If you haven't already guessed, the heroine of this particular story is a sniveling waste of ink, and there's no getting past that. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
Appartient à la sériePeregrine Family (2)
Lovely Zared Peregrine was the pride of her family, a treasure her rough-hewn brothers would strive at any cost to protect from their ancient enemies, the Howards. The Peregrines had suffered loss enough. Thus Zared's brothers trained her in the arts of war, and dressed her in boy's clothing. Beyond the castle walls, none knew that the youngest Peregrine was a girl.... Yet when the magnificent Knight Tearle Howard returned from a lengthy sojourn in France, it took him but one glance to discover that Zared was most definitely female, and beautiful. Now, as the enmity between their families raged on, Tearle would mount a bold campaign to win the ravishing spitfire's heart -- and save her from his brother's dark and deadly obsession!
