I have always been a Goosebumps fan, but I only recently discovered the Horrorland series. Each book has a (very) creepy story involving children, followed by a chapter of the Horrorland tale. Each book brings further clarity to the Horrorland section, leaving the reader craving more. Unfortunately, I only have the first eight, so I am in limbo as to what will happen. I cannot wait to obtain the remainder of this thrilling series! ( ) As far as I can remember, this book revolves around a new character, different from the previous two "Say Cheese and Die" books from the original Goosebumps series. But it still focuses on a old camera though not the same and it posseses an evil power that can create very horrible things to happen to anyone or anything who has their picture taken with it. Not the strongest book although as mentioned, it is fun yet scary in some terms. I recommend this for all children and teenagers but is still worth a read for all age groups. The new Goosebumps HorrorLand series is frightfully fun for all. In installment #8, Say Cheese - And Die Screaming!, Stine introduces us to aspiring news photographer, Julie. When Julie stumbles across an old and very rare camera, she just has to have it. However, Julie quickly learns that the camera is evil. Horrible things happen to everyone who is unlucky enough to be caught in the camera's lens. Can Julie break the curse of the camera in time to save everyone? Later Julie receives an invitation to be a Very Special Guest at the HorrorLand Theme Park. It is soon obvious that all is not as it should be in HorrorLand. The Very Special Guests are all trapped. Can Julie and the other kids escape to Panic Park? Or are they doomed? This review first appeared here: http://minibookbytes.blogspot.com/ aucune critique | ajouter une critique
