It took several tries to get past the first part of the book, but once I accomplished that, it was well worth the effort. The Argeneaus have a unique brand of crazy, and it is fun to watch them bumble, fumble, and rumble with the trouble that comes their way.
This is probably my third or fourth Argeneau book that I've read and I really enjoyed it. I have to admit that I'm a bit surprised I like the series so much, but I find the characters really endearing. It's fun to have a series to read again since you can get so connected with characters. ( )
It's a perfectly serviceable paranormal romance suffering from a complete lack of plot. The hero is territorial-lite, the heroine is way too cool with being quasi-kidnapped in a way that was somehow super annoying. The "science" angle felt unnecessary, but might pan out in the rest of the series? I'm unlikely to find out! Anyway, it's fine, it's fine! ( )
I love this series it's funny, erotic, and sometimes sad but mainly funny the way the family is and the way the main characters are to each other at times is quite comical but Marguerite is hilarious I just love herr, this is a series I would recommend to anyone cause they are just greats read, and I'm only on the second one. ( )
