Even if something is going wrong in your life, things could always be worse so you should find something good about the situation you are in. It is better to be happy in life then to be sulking. Pollyanna learned to be glad that she had injured her legs because she realized how blessed she had been in the first place to have working legs, arms and hands. She no longer would take even the littlest thing for granted. “Pollyanna” also shows people that anyone can make a difference in someone else’s life even if you are a little girl. Pollyanna was able to touch so many people’s lives just by being happy and kind and helping people realize the great things they have to be glad about in their lives. This story really encourages being happier in life and appreciating everything you have because no matter how bad things can get you are still alive and have other positive things you can celebrate.
