I really struggled to continue to read this because of the poor style - plus the main character is a pretentious left-wing food snob! Here is an example of the bad writing that annoyed me, from page 30: "And what's more, Jackie thought to herself as she poured low-fat milk on a crunchy whole-wheat biscuit, Cameron's first day on the set had been the good one." Still, I didn't see the ending coming. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Jackie’s keeping busy by acting as wrangler for Jake—she’s signed him up as top dog in a film being directed by her gifted former student, John McBride.
