Welcome to Divnograd! is an illustrated workbook which has been designed to be in conjunction with RussianAlive!. It can also be used either by itself or with any other Russian textbook for beginning and intermediate students in order to provide contextualized exercises based on the sociological culture of Russia. Among its many features are a full-scale map of the city of Divnograd with complete urban infrastructure (streets, stores, transportation, etc.), biographical sketches and brief stories about 20 typical Russian citizens living in the city of Divnograd, drawings, vocabulary and related exercises based upon a typical Russian apartment, questions to test the ability of students to find their way around a typical Russian city, grammar-related exercises applied to living accommodations, biographies and the city of Divnograd.
