In general I do not enjoy James Patterson novels as I find them predictable and formulaic but for some reason I quite enjoy the Maximum Ride series. I found the characters to be interesting and I found the story to be fascinating. I liked how it was fantastical but also believable enough that it felt like the vents could maybe actually happen. The writing style is very readable if a bit simplistic. After books 3&4 I was pretty skeptical but this was really good! I loved how she finally accepted Fang's affection and that fang turned down Dr. Brigid for her! They got some new cool powers and there's a new Evil gut named Mr.Chu and he kidnapped Max's mom! Oh noes we gotta go save her! And why are all these fish dieing?? Maybe cause of the Krelp. But what are those?! aucune critique | ajouter une critique

I used to associate with the bird-kids. I used to want that same kind of independence. But when they are so self-centered, so disdainful of adults and humans in general, I begin to wonder if you are simply writing for the ten-year-olds who are mad at their parents.
As for the writing itself? The way you sprinkled dirty jokes and anti-American and global warming propaganda throughout was kind of a turnoff. And the adjectives and adverbs were flowing a little freely. Try more descriptive verbs.
Honestly, I can't go on. The flock will have more adventures, but they'll never save the world, because it's not really ever in danger, if it has them. So any more little baddies will have little to no chance, and your plot will have little to no interest.
Thanks for the ride. The first few books were good. I'm sorry it has to end this way. ( )
