This book is about a duck named Max trying to create the perfect soup when his friends think he has fallen in. This book is silly and simple which makes it great for young readers. The book has animals as characters who are involved in a silly soup dilemma. This makes the book lighthearted and easy to read. The book also is short and simple. This doesn’t confuse the reader with complex words or plots. This book easily lends itself to be read a loud with young children and can be fun for everyone to read. This book is about a duck who is cooking soup, and when he is away getting chives, his friends come home and think he has accidentally cooked himself. They search and strain the soup to find him, and ruin Max's soup. This book is good for teaching teamwork and problem solving because they worked together to find max in the soup. This would also be good for revising because max edits his soup to make it better, and his friends edit it because they think he made a mistake. In the end they all come to the same conclusion and max forgives them for ruining his soup. This book has a good lesson that things are not always as they appear. The animals just know that something happened to the duck and they dramatically search for him. Then he turns up and it is not what the animals thought. Very entertaining book. Genre, fantasy as a duck is cooking soup and other animals rush around to find him, Media, water colors. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
