Big Little Boy This poem is about the growing life of a little boy compared to an ant, caterpillar, and a frog. They each declare how big they are and what they can do. I like this poem because it shows a growing process that is physical and mental. It explains little things that each do but in a way that is a huge accomplishment for each one. This poem can introduce animals and creatures, different methods of getting around, size of creatures and the growth of a child. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

The poem, When you talk to a monkey by Rowena Bennett, it talked about how monkeys are really good listeners.
The next poem was called The Duck by Ogden Nash, it talks about what ducks sound like and where they live.
Personal Experience:
I had to write poems in grade school about different animals.
Classroom Extension:
1. I would have my class write a poem about animals.
2. Together, the class and I would write a poem. ( )
