The book is about a family getting read for a new baby's arrival. Each family members does something for her the brother makes a mobile for her. All the family takes a turn sleeping in the cradle " just like baby" Then the brother is prepared when his sister comes home she sleeps "just like baby" ages 3-5 classmates book.

A good story for children who are having a new sibling. Everyone in the family have a share of something to do on building a cradle for the new baby.

“Just Like a Baby” is a story of a family who is expecting a new addition to the family. Each member takes turns in preparing for the baby, starting with the father who constructs a cradle, after its construction father gets into the cradle and falls to sleep. Grandpa paints the cradle, grandma stiches a quilt, and brother makes a turning mobile to hang over the crib. After each of these family members add their touch to the cradle they each fall to sleep in the cradle! Finally the baby comes and the family rejoices. The baby is crying and the family knows exactly what will soothe the new baby. Placing her in the cradle she immediately stops crying. ( )
