Hard Drive to Short

Matt Christopher writes a lot of good books. However, Hard Drive to Short, is an amazing book. This is a book about baseball. I recommend it to baseball fans that are in sixth to eighth grade.

This book is about a baseball player named Sandy. Sandy is really good at baseball, and helps his team win a lot of games. Every game Sandy has to leave early because he has to watch his little sisters. Sandy risks his friendship with his teammates because he is afraid of what they might think of him if they knew he had to watch his sisters.

The plot in the book is very detailed. Matt Christopher describes each character with amazing detail. The book is easy to follow and the reader does not get confused at all. The topic of this book is good for me because I am very athletic and enjoy playing baseball.

This book draws the reader in because it begins with Sandy playing in a game. Hard Drive to Short is a good level for me because it is not too hard or too easy.

I really liked this book. It was well written and the plot and flow of events made sense. I really enjoyed it.
Sandy Vargas plays baseball and he loves it. He is also really good at it. But with his mother and father working double and sometimes triple shifts to put his brother through college there is no one to watch his little sisters while Sandy is playing. So Sandy leaves early every game to watch his siblings. Will Sandy continue to put family before sports, or will it be a problem with the coach? Read to find out. ( )
