Argument: I think this is a good book for children for many reasons. First, it addresses a holiday (Easter) in a fun and silly way that children will appreciate. By making the dinosaur the Easter Bunny it puts a spin on the holiday as a whole. I also enjoy that they give the actual names of the dinosaurs such as "T-rex, Stegosaurus, and Diplodocus". It gives children who are very interested in dinosaurs something to connect with and learn about. I also like that the words "wobbled and hopped" are repeated throughout the story and are put in different colored font to add emphasis.
The main theme of this book is to never give up. Even though T-rex encountered a problem with his eggs he never gave up and searched and searched until the children in the town and Peter Cottontail were satisfied with his delivery. It also shows that you can be whoever you want to be. In this story, a T-rex wanted to be the Easter bunny and he did. ( )
