A cute story about a lonely boy who is a bit of a misfit until he befriends a real dinosaur. I like the writing and how it flows. The story is okay, it is just nothing special. But dinosaurs are super popular with so many kids I think they would love the idea of befriending a dino.

This is a fun, imaginative book with rhyming verse. Having a dinosaur as a pet could pose lots of problems. He would eat a lot and tear up trees and buildings. Imagine the size of his poop!
But then, of course, it would also be a lot of fun and make you the most popular kid at school and protect you from the bullies. I think most kids would enjoy this book. ( )

This is a good book for young children, the pictures are really good and reading the story is easy and fun. It reminds me of the books I read to my children and now I can read this to my grandchildren. I enjoyed reading it and cannot wait to see my grandson’s face when I read it to him. Read this with my 8-year-old as a bedtime story and it was a blast! It had her laughing out loud multiple times.

The book was a short and easy read, complemented by fun illustrations.
