The companion volume to last year’s STRAY DOGS, Dog Days by Tony Fleecs & Trish Forstner from @imagecomics, on the surface may look like a lighthearted, 80s era animated-style collection of stories about dogs and their owners, is in truth a sinister set up to the events that happen in STRAY DOGS.

**SPOILERS AHEAD**

Here, we get brief glimpses into the lives of the Strays moments before their ladies are murdered and they are abducted. Knowing what’s in store for some of the dogs makes seeing their previous lives that much more painful. Seriously, I’m still in awe how something that looks so innocent on the surface can be so insidious and uncomfortable to read.

If you like horror that sneaks up on you and are able to read about animal violence/abuse and serial killers, I highly recommend reading last year’s DOG DAYS, and then follow that with this volume.
