This book is great. Teaching my son to write his letters and also helping him boost his confidence. Highly recommend ( )

The book looked good to me but, more importantly, was enjoyed by my 4 year old and 7 year old. So it comes recommended from them with approval from me.

Handwriting Practice Workbook, by Michelle Mateo is a useful book to help children. This is a book that children can practice writing letters, numbers and drawing shapes. This book is meant for children ages 4 to 10. While there are pages that a 4 year old could work on, I feel this book is more for a child a little older and most 9 and 10 year olds would find it boring. I do like how the author adds affirmative and positive sentences to help the child practice writing and learn new words. I have been using this book for my four year old, and at this point the tracing of shapes is what he is able to work on. I like how sturdy this book is and how it will span a few years with helping a child learn writing, spelling and math.

My seven year old really enjoys this workbook. It is very straightforward and gives unexpected opportunities to discuss the affirmation words. I can see it benefiting the whole age range 4-10. I think it would be neat to have the same book in cursive to teach him as well. ( )

This writing practice book is extremely well thought out. Along with dotted lines for tracing letters, it includes other activities like fill-in-the-blank and coloring pages related to the letter's sound. Each letter "section" also has a page of positive affirmations. It even has some pages with suggestions for the reader to write about themselves. It definitely works for ages 4 - 10 as the title says. ( )
