I liked that Francine Vega took her FBI husband's suggestion that she open a new television station when she got fired and blackballed. She was leery but after she convinced Frack to come out of retirement to help get the station up and running, she ended up in a small town and into a cult named BEYOND REVELATION and people of color missing!! THIS NOVEL SEEMED SO REAL THAT IT COULD HAPPEN THIS YEAR AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK!! ( ) Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing. I usually don´t read murder stories.Usually. The book captivated me after a few pages and I read it besids other books I was reading at the same time more or less in one piece. Its a captivating story, thankfully not from a police officers point of view and thus a fresh perspective. I won´t go into the story, though I´ll say that the death of some chars really came out of the blue and left me speechless. All in all I´d recomend it as a fast, captivating read. I found this book to be well written and riveting. The characters are compelling and easy to relate to. The storyline takes the reader to picturesque places and extraordinary predicaments. Francine Vega is the main character and is a talk show host on her own network. Her husband, Will, is an FBI agent so she has access to information that others don't. She gets involved in a missing person's case through her long-time friend, Jonas. I recommend anyone who enjoys a thrilling mystery to curl up with this book when you have the time to read it straight through. It is nearly impossible to put down. I received this books as an ARC in exchange for an honest, unbiased review. Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing. Beyond Revelation - a group who believes they are ready for the end. AND keep to themselves. But what happens when people disappear? Do they have anything to do with it? THIS is an amazing thriller - a journalist, her FBI husband, their friends . . . . You will NOT be sorry you picked this book up if you like unexpected events to happen in books! aucune critique | ajouter une critique
Is Beyond Revelation a reclusive religious order preparing its flock for the Second Coming, or is it a cult with much more sinister intentions? When New York City TV reporter Francine Vega travels from ‘the City’ to a small New England town to hunt for a friend who has gone missing, she finds that the disappearance may be tied to Beyond Revelation and a Russian-funded nationwide conspiracy. To find the truth, Vega works with the Press, the FBI, religious leaders, civil rights leaders and even the President as she races against the clock to rescue her friend and avert a national calamity.
