NYC Ballet Workout was a pretty novel idea ten years ago, and the photos are still really nice, but there's probably dozens of Pilates books on the market now that teach similar exercises. Also, this book has almost no upper-body stuff. ( )

I used to use this book all the time for quick ab workouts and stretches. If you use it enough you can do many of the workouts without reading, and they are very good stretches. Made for elongating your body, simple to follow, but some will definitely work up a sweat.

Did not turn me into a dancer, however. ( )
