When Aidan is born, his parents think he's a girl, but after a few years, he manages to tell them the truth. The family adjusts, learns, makes mistakes, and learns more - and then Aidan's mom announces she's having another baby. This time around, the family does things a little differently, thanks to Aidan's care and concern that the baby should feel like he did when he was little. Mom allays Aidan's fears beautifully, and big balloons on the final page spread announce "IT'S A BABY!"

When Aidan was younger everyone thought he was a girl. Now that he is becoming a big brother he wants it to be different for his soon to be sibling. A really beautiful book that highlights inclusive language and older brother fears.
