A hunky cowboy, hot sex, AND a sweet love story...that's a home run for me! "Cady's Cowboy" is part of Jory Strong's erotic 'Crime Tells' series about a family-run private investigation firm. This was actually a very sweet, yet still very hot, love story. Far from the usual, this Alpha male did very little fighting against his feelings for the heroine. And when he screwed up...he knew it!!

Cady pulls the lead on a case involving horse-drugging at a local racetrack. When she goes to meet her new client, she discovers that she'll be working with a 'friend' of the client who just happens to be sex-on-legs! His charm and sex appeal draw her in quickly, but when she discovers he isn't sharing ALL the information he has on 'their' case...she'll have a tough decision to make.

Kix felt like he'd been kicked by a bronco when he caught sight of his temporary 'partner'. He's never been called a slow-top, so when he begins to feel awful possessive and suffers out-of-control urges around Cady, he's quick to catch on that she's the one he won't want to let go. But he'll have to tame his outsize protective streak if he wants to lasso this filly.

Loved the story, the sex was smoking', and for someone who's not overly fond of 'western' settings, this one still won a spot on my keeper shelf! ( )
