The evolution of Loneliness, Creativity and Love is in essence a recreation of the major themes of a father-daughter relationship, from the first beginnings of a shared life in infancy, and into childhood, adolescence and the adult years. We have lived this book in an everyday sense: the ideas, values, feelings and thoughts of loneliness, creativity and love. In regularly scheduled meetings over the period of a year, we met to shape and develop Loneliness, Creativity and Love. The meetings provided opportunities for father-daughter rituals, sharing our letters, our poetry and music, as well as our dreams and narratives conveying lonely life and communion. We hope that this book will invite the sharing of inspirational moments in significant relationships, too often neglected due to the demands of modern life. We also hope that this book will contribute to the bonding and deepening of friendships and family connections.
