The evolution of Loneliness, Creativity and Love is in essence a recreation of the major themes of a father-daughter relationship, from the first beginnings of a shared life in infancy, and into childhood, adolescence and the adult years. We have lived this book in an everyday sense: the ideas, values, feelings and thoughts of loneliness, creativity and love. In regularly scheduled meetings over the period of a year, we met to shape and develop Loneliness, Creativity and Love. The meetings provided opportunities for father-daughter rituals, sharing our letters, our poetry and music, as well as our dreams and narratives conveying lonely life and communion. We hope that this book will invite the sharing of inspirational moments in significant relationships, too often neglected due to the demands of modern life. We also hope that this book will contribute to the bonding and deepening of friendships and family connections. Clark Moustakas, Ph.D. is President Emeritus and Kerry Moustakas, Ph.D. is the current President of The Center for Humanistic Studies Graduate School (CHS). This unique graduate school of professional psychology is located in Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA. For over twenty years CHS has been the only school dedicated to teaching humanistic psychology in the Midwestern United States. CHS awards Master's and Doctoral (Psy.D.) degrees in Humanistic and Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on self-directed and experiential learning, community building and academic freedom. Scholarly pursuits, personal growth and professional development are the foundations of this educational experience. Interdisciplinary areas include: psychology, education, philosophy and qualitative research. For more information please visit the CHS website at www.humanpsych.edu.… (plus d'informations)
