When the law hanged outlaw Frank Hurd and sent him home to Junction, Colorado, to be buried, everyone thought that was the end of it, but within two days his younger brother, Jason Hurd, found a dying outlaw in his barn, and shortly after that three more outlaws showed up. After one of the outlaws attacked Sheriff Beaufort, the entire community was thrown into turmoil. It was up to Jason Hurd to prove he was not like Frank had been. In order to do this he had to track down the three outlaws, and although he was a cowman, not a gunfighter, he managed, with some help, to prove himself eventually. Before he succeeded there were some fights and some dead, which was perhaps inevitable.
