This is a great book to help young children cope with a death, particular grandmother. The book describes death in a way that children can relate and understand. Letting the child know that it is okay to cry and be mad, that it is a normal greiving process.

This books help toddlers understand the concept of death and begin to understand the process of loss. Death is simply explained in an age-appropriate way. Proper names and words are in red to be easily noticed and allow for your open ended questions while reading aloud.
