NAILED IT! That is what comes to mind when I think about this book. Kathy Coopmans takes you away to another world when she writes, and that is what reading is supposed to do. This is the fourth book in the Syndicate Series and should really be read in order so you get the whole story behind the characters and what is going on.

When we left book 3, Dilan was shot, and took off to Lord only know where. Anna was left alone with the rest of the family to pick up the pieces of her heart.

When Dilan comes crashing back into Anna’s life, let’s just say it is in true Kathy form, HOT ALPHA Male. He had an agenda and was hell bent on carrying it out no matter who or what got in his way.

Anna continues to impress me with her steel resolve, and huge heart. She is the perfect woman for Dilan, and once they realize that the pages will burn.

The story in between is what really sets this aside from all others, the mob, the Mexican cartel, the Russian’s, this book has it all and does not disappoint in the action. It is not for the faint of heart that is for sure.

The Syndicate Series is epic in keeping you on the edge of your seat and Dilan is right there with the rest of them. I think of the four, this is my favorite, I think I said that about all of them, but really this one is IT! I have to say I want to give this one 10 Stars! Really!!

This book is full of revenge and Dilan has spent along time plotting so he can finally get his vengeance for himself and his family. He has strong feelings for Anna, but he has had to put them aside until his plans can be put in motion, he just hopes Anna still has feelings for him and can wait for him.

The story, I found, was a little complicated at times, the plot was fairly straightforward but I got mixed up with the abundance of characters and different family names.
There's action, gross mutilation, steamy bedroom action, and the suspense in the story was tremendous, my heart was pounding so fast and hard at one point in the story I thought I'd have to stop reading.

Even with the little confusion, which may have just been my fault, this book is well worth reading if you love Mafia style romance, you definitely won't be disappointed, I wasn't, I thoroughly enjoyed it. 5/5 ( )
