What a story I am blown away, this is the first book I have read by this author and boy was I not disappointed, it took me on a very emotional journey, fell in love with Stell, G, co and pippi and little Coco was the icing on the cake this story made me laugh cry and experience all the drama, love and family and emotion, I felt invested in these comp!ex characters and was rooting for them all to the conclusion of this amazing adventure . I can't even... Where to begin. ... My full review will have to come later after my heart doesn't ache. For now I need to just say that Pepper once again reached in and touched my soul--Just as she will touch yours.

I will remember the messages and hidden meanings that are juxtaposed through this story as a constant reminder that; with joy comes pain, death leads to rebirth, and that love is unconditional. Pepper reminded me that I need to heed the whispers in my head and embrace change and listen to the advice the Universe is telling me.

Thanks Pepper, for another great book that transcends any expectations I had. I will remember this book forever. ( )

Unseen Messages is a survival romance. It depicts Galloway, a man from England with deep rooted grief and anger, Estelle, a woman thrown into stardom unwillingly along with others (leaving the who purposely out as it would be spoilers) who end up stranded on an uninhabited island after their helicopter crashes in the South Pacific.

The book spans almost 7 years from beginning to end and you feel every one of them in the 714 pages. The actual time the castaways were stranded on the island was almost 4 years. A lot of losses, heartbreak, fighting for survival, two people falling in love happen on the island before being rescued. But sometimes after such a harrowing ordeal and learning to live with just the basics going back to a modern world with all its problems and judgments isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Is this book worth reading? Absolutely.. But I fear many will struggle with the length. I admit I did a lot of skipping in the middle and don’t feel I missed anything pertinent. I understand this story is personal for the author and it must have taken all 714 pages for her to tell that story and that’s what matters.

I’ve had a fascination with survival stories for as long as I can remember. So, when I learned that the acclaimed Pepper Winters was releasing her own unique take on the genre with UNSEEN MESSAGES, I leapt at the chance to read it. My one laughable mistake was believing that I could start it at bedtime and be able to put it aside at some point to go to sleep. Ha! Not a chance. By the end of the first few chapters, I was wide awake, completely wrapped up, and on the edge of my seat, anxious and eager to find out what was going to happen next.

Fresh, ambitious, unpredictable, immensely exciting, and deliciously sexy, this epic nail-biter of a novel is an engrossing and richly satisfying adventure that stays with you for days. Page after page, Estelle and Galloway's rich and harrowing tale held my emotions captive and made my pulse race as the marooned strangers struggled to stay alive in the unfathomable new reality thrust upon them. I was riveted as—against all possible odds and despite endless hardship, trials, and sobbing heartbreak—they didn’t just manage to survive, but learned to co-exist and, eventually, brilliantly thrive.

Equally enthralling and powerful was the fated couple’s wonderfully interwoven romance. Inspiring, beautiful, and scorching hot, I swooned and melted as Estelle and Galloway fell breathlessly in love with one another. Their stunning ardor and endless devotion to one another brought tears to my eyes time and time again. And their scintillating passion? It was flat-out unforgettable, incendiary perfection!

Moved, uplifted and blissfully sated, I closed UNSEEN MESSAGES with a misty-eyed smile. Not only did I get to delight in experiencing a fabulous book, but I also gained a brand new auto-buy author to enjoy in the future! Preferably the very near future! (I might be simultaneously downloading all of Pepper Winter’s available backlist titles as I type this…)
