this wrapped up very nicely. I love the authors writing style and between work and having to get everything done I actually loved this book as my way to decompress. ( )

Highly recommend you purchase all three and do a binge read. As others have written, this is NOT your typical romance, sexy times serial. Oh, it's got some hot and bothered sections, but the suspense part of the book is bigger. Best I can compare this to, you like Scandal the TV show, this series is for you!

Author does end on closure. Obviously written the end with a leap to another book. However, these three could stand alone and not need to move forward because she left you hanging. ( )

...And then we get to part three which is a wrap up with almost no tension. Or at least there wasn't for me.

Overall.. This book really, Really, REALLY didn't need to be split into three parts. It literally read like a book that had been chopped into sections and the serial format didn't add anything to the overall concept.

So. Irritating.

That being said, I would probably read more in this series if they weren't in that same format. I liked the leads, and the side stories and future plot lines are interesting. I don't think it was very realistic and forced that Hailey and Cole were engaged by the end of the book.

But aside from that, I liked the progression of their relationship, and the foundation being laid for a continuous story spanning the rest of the books. Which I assume will be about the other members of the Horus group... ( )

”A bad boy can be so very good. A good girl can get really dirty. And two lonely people who find each other can finally be happy.” This quote sums up this book so well. Cole is so so good to Hailey. Hailey has woken up and found what she needs to be happy. Together they can have all the happiness that life has held back from them until now.

There were some twist, turns and surprises in this one. This book caught me off guard by going in a different direction than I thought. And I’m so curious about what’s in store for the other partners in the Horus Group.
