Love my K A books! I love that with Kristen's books you make friends with everybody...the main characters, kids, ex's, family members, the community. It makes it much more intimate and I feel like I'm participating in their lives. I adored Jake and thought he and Josie fit like a boxing glove. I'm impatiently awaiting Frankie and Benny's story (different series)! No stupid cliff hangers with Kristen either because she doesn't have to do that to get people to buy the next book....thank you!!!!! ( )

Liked it. I want a house surrounded by Lavender. ( )

I liked this but I've read better books by this author. Also, not really happy with the snail pace and the drag the storyline embodied. ( )

I really enjoyed this story.

There where a couple problems I ran into.
One was a couple of typo/editing errors. Not many, but they are there.
My biggest problem is there are areas that ramble on a bit, interfering minutely with the flow of the story. These are the reasons for 4 instead of 5 stars.

Other than that, this story was awesome. Kristen Ashley's unusual talent to make the emotions of her characters so real you literally experience them like they are your own shines in this story.
You, the reader, become a part of the characters. You aren't just reading the scene, you are living it.

This is one of the reasons I am so enamored with her work.
The way she expresses the intensity of the emotions her characters are feeling, her ability to create a world that is easy to see in your minds eye, her build of the characters themselves is an amazing.

This story draws you in and keeps you captivated.

A beautiful adult romance that will leave you craving for more of Kristen Ashley's gift for words. ( )

What a way to end 2019.

I wasn't sure what to make of this book when I had read the first chapter at the end of a previous KA book so I put it off for a while. That was a mistake. This book was much better than I gave that first chapter credit for. In unusual form, this author created amazing characters that I fell in love with. Josie, in fact, is one of my all-time favorites. There was just something about her. I loved the way that she spoke and her vocabulary. I adored how she reprimanded people in such a classy way. Jake was yet another one of those possesive without being creepy guys. I am not sure how this author manages to make the guys teetering on the balance of being caveman-like and also swoon-worthy. She truly is the best at it.

The epilogue in this book? Yeah, hands down one of, if not the best that she has ever written. ( )
