I thought it was cute. ( )

I thought this was such a cute book and I loved looking for the hidden underwear on every page. The illustration and colors were beautiful. I know my grandchildren will love it. ( )

Silly plots for children's books can be successful if they are laugh out loud funny, unfortunately this book was not. The inclusion of "challenging" the reader to find hidden underwear added little value, however, I am passing on to my grandchildren for a read and perhaps they will like it better than I suspect, however I doubt it. If they do I will revise this review. ( )

I admit I am immature. I love seek and finds and I really love that the author has us looking for underwear on every page. Some are easy to find and some not so easy. It's really hard to find the underwear when my own thumb is blocking them. I also like that there is a genuine story with the seek and find. Many focus just on making it very difficult to find items and do not have a good story to follow.
I felt the rhyming was forced sometimes and did not make as much sense as it would have if the story did not rhyme. The "heel in toe" threw me, grinning and lingering was odd, and no--the underwear did not dissolve.
The images reminded me of CGI movies. I do believe some children will love how vibrant they are--it didn't work for me. ( )
