Fiction. Romance. Humor (Fiction.) HTML:In this electrifying novel from Cassie Mae, two close friends surprise themselves by shifting from platonic love to sexual attraction.

Eric Matua has one friend—his best friend and childhood sweetheart, who needs a place to stay for the summer. Mia Johnson has thousands of friends—who live in her computer. Along with her email chats and Facebook notifications, Mia also devours romance novels, spending countless hours with fictional characters, dreaming of her own Romeo to sweep her off her feet. When she starts receiving supersweet messages from a stranger who thinks she's someone else, Mia begins to believe that real love is possible outside her virtual world.

When the two friends become roommates, Mia finds herself falling harder than she ever thought she could. But Eric keeps his desires locked away, unsure of himself and his ability to give his best friend what she deserves in a boyfriend. As her advances are continually spurned, Mia splits her time between Eric and her computer. But she soon realizes she's about to lose the only real thing she's ever had.

"I really loved this book. It deals with relevant issues and gives us two very unique characters you can't help but root for. The cute little updates or tweets that start each chapter, which are told in alternating POVs, were unique and added to the story. Definitely enjoyed this one and I am looking forward to other books from Mae."—So Many Reads
"If I had to point out the most romantic novel I've ever read or if I had to name the novel whose characters I most identified with, I would shove this one into your face."—Closet Geeks and Slo Mo

"Cassie Mae's books have become my latest guilty pleasure. Pleasure, because who doesn't love to read a romantic comedy? And I say guilty because when I lay my hands on one, I tend to read them in one sitting and let all my other responsibilities go to the wayside. What dishes?"—Pauline Creeden, author of Sanctuary

"Mae is very good at getting me to chuckle throughout an entire book, because her heroines are quirky and unique."—Book Nerd.

Another great book by Cassie Mae! I love that its the male character in this one who has difficulties with his body image. It was a very different perspective that I enjoyed reading. I loved Mia, she made a few stupid mistakes but that just made her more relatable! ( )

I saw this at my library and borrowed it. I love the character Mia. She sweet, stubborn, crazy, childlike and a d*mn idiot. This book did have raunchy, laugh out moments and has me laughing quite hard. This book left me happy and a emotional, on the verge of tears, wreck til the very end. Reading it out loud and there was a point of the book where it picks up at a slow pace. The feels died then picks up towards the end and has me smiling like a d*mn fool. I hate to say this but Eric is a idiot too. A very, sexy sweet idiot but had his moments too. I love how they both love books and love the mia bookworm moments. I did however get angry and frustrated, having my moments as well. Mia and Eric are simply a beautiful mess. Cute, beautiful couple. When the book came to a close, i fangirl and said to myself," that was beautiful." a happy ending for them is a happier me. I enjoy this book. ( )

Ok, first things first: the cover is awful. I know that a lot of authors/publishers choose suggestive covers because... well, that's what sells. But this cover doesn't reflect at all the spirit of this book, which goes beyond a simple "sexy" story (And even if it were a simple "sexy" story that photo is ugly).

Second: I must admit that the first 20% of the book bored me.

The lack of self-esteem of Eric and the cyber addiction of Mia, were annoying. But then I get to know their personalities, their fears and why they are the way they are... and everything was just right.

Third: FINALLY A NA WHERE THE HEROIN IS NOT A PURE-INNOCENT-PERFECT-VIRGIN (AND NEITHER A SLUT, THANK YOU VERY MUCH) AND THE HERO IS NOT AN ALPHA MALE-STALKER-PLAYBOY !!!

This book breaks all the molds of the typical New Adult stories. SO THANK YOU FOR THAT CASSIE MAE. ( )

This is a wonderful friends to lovers story that takes an interesting look at the effect social media has on relationships today. The main characters of Eric and Mia are both beautifully flawed and so incredibly real. They both love deeply and work to overcome some very personal issues, together. You can't help but cheer for these two. I highly recommend this book to everyone. ( )
