A literary device or not, Ruffato makes use of the memoirs of an "international servant" (as graduate employees of the World Bank are called), the retired engineer Do rio Finetto, who sent them to the author, free of contingencies. After reading them, Ruffato becomes interested in creating a novel based on the reports, and thus {Flores artificiais} was born. The original chronicles are distributed across eight stories, all enriched further by the author's award-winning abilities as a writer. These stories encompass several cities and regions such Buenos Aires, Hamburg, East Timor, Cuba, Uruguay, and Angola, among others. He made personal contact with their people who are the ones bringing the human essence to the narratives. They tell of their burdens, sadness, defeats and joys, revealing what we all know, that sorrow and happiness are universal elements of a life well lived. The life of Finetto, the memorialist, is told by Ruffato in the novel's epilogue. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
