( ) The story focuses on an oyster that was portrayed as little and plain, but a dolphin came along that was determined to make the oyster see a different perspective. It did not do anything for it could not swim, walk or crawl. Every animal in the sea put down the oyster by saying it was no good for anything or that the oyster should try and act like them, whether it was a shark, fish or an octopus. Nothing made the oyster feel welcomed and it wished that it could be brave and beautiful. A dolphin was singing and ran into the oyster and decided to talk to him, but the oyster did not understand why someone would want to talk to it. The dolphin told the oyster that everyone was special and beautiful in there own way, so the dolphin asked the oyster to open its shell to see what was inside. A pearl was inside the oyster and it became happy for “just plain me is special enough”. The central message of this story is everyone is special, but it does not matter what is on the outside, it’s what’s inside that counts. No one should judge anyone based on how they look; they need to get to know someone in order to see who they really are. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
